How much nature does a big city like Linz have to offer? An exciting search for traces deepens the pupils’ botanical-zoological knowledge.
Program:
Day 1:
The Botanical Garden with its beautiful flowers is worth a visit at any season.
Afterwards visit the new park in the harbor area with cool spaces for children and a 28 meter high platform. What is really special ist that the Hafenpark is situated on the roof of a new storage hall.
Day 2:
Visit the Schlossmuseum and have a tour through the exhibition “Nature in Upper Austria”. You will find out that most of Upper Austria was once covered with water and you will see the strange animals that lived here in ancient times. Attend the highlight tour in the Ars Electronica Center – the Museum of the future.
Day 3:
The nostalgic Pöstlingberg railway takes you up to the Pöstlingberg hilltop. Enjoy a striking view over Linz and make a stop at the zoo, where you find a huge variety of animals.
