Linz is known for its production of steel. Look at the economical and technological side and discover the famous sights of Linz.
Program:
Day 1:
On a tour aboard the bright yellow Linz City Express kids discover the historical and cultural highlights of Linz, the city where they will spend the next three days. Afterwards visit the new park in the harbor area with cool spaces for children and a 28 meter high platform. What is really special ist that the Hafenpark is situated on the roof of a new storage hall.
Day 2:
The voestalpine World of Steel shows how steel is produced. In an exciting plant tour you will see the various production steps. In the afternoon you will visit the must-see of every stop-over in Linz: the highlight-tour in the Ars Electronica Center, the musuem of the future.
Day 3:
You will visit the Schlossmuseum and have a guided tour through the exhibition “Technique in Upper Austria”. Topics are the history of industry, economics and technique.
