The Austrian Youth Hostel Association in Tyrol is pleased about a new addition to the Youth Hostel network in Tyrol: The Hoch-Innsbruck Children’s and Youth Hostel has been a new partner of the ÖJHV Tyrol since November and offers great accommodation, especially for groups and seminars at the foot of the Nordkette in the north of Innsbruck.
After a break of almost 7 years, the “Holiday Home of the Kinderfreunde Tirol”, which has been run by the association since 1917, has now finally been reopened as a modern Children’s and Youth Hostel open all year. The new house, together with the thousands of square meters of forest and meadow area, is convincing, as in the past, with great flexibility and its many possibilities. The close proximity to Innsbruck city center and the perfect accessibility by public transport are also a great advantage. And even if it is a Youth Hostel for Children and Young People: adult groups and individual travelers are always very welcome!
Whether for a seminar weekend with overnight stays, a school culture week with campfire evenings or a sports and hiking week – the new “Haus der Freudschaft” [House of Friendship] is definitely a unique place for it and has guaranteed unforgettable memories for over 100 years!
