3 days or 2 nights in the beautiful Waldviertel in our Youth Hostel Neu Nagelberg – package for 2nd to 8th grade (without arrival / departure costs)
Program:
Day 1:
- Arrival: Individual arrival / arrival at the YH
- Morning: free time and getting to know the surroundings (walk in the forest to legendary rock formations, soccer field and playground near the house, bathing pond)
- Lunch
- Afternoon:
- Forest walk to the Apfelthaler glassworks (Alt Nagelberg)
- Tour of the glass museum and glass park with glass sculptures and shady relaxation oases (including glass blowing)
- Evening:
- Dinner: Barbecue at the pond
- Cozy get-together at the bonfire

- Morning: Gmünd adventure tour (day trip): Wobble stones expedition – legendary granite blocks
- Noon: Picnic with packed lunches
- Afternoon: Afterwards visit of the old smithy: Museum tour and show smithy
- Evening:
- Dinner
- Guided adventure walk through the dark
Tag 3:
- Breakfast
- Morning creative work of art: Visit HUKI – children’s workshop Breitensee
- Optional candle-making, soap boiling, ceramic painting
- Individual departure + packed lunch
