The Austrian Youth Hostel Association is pleased to announce that on 31 October 2019 the Swiss Youth Hostel Association (SJH) and the Austrian Youth Hostel Association Carinthia (ÖJHV) have signed a cooperation agreement in Zurich under the responsibility of the two Presidents Frank Reutlinger and Michael Raunig. The two associations will cooperate more closely in the future, assisting in the upcoming challenges and promoting projects on topics such as youth mobility, environmental protection and sustainability.
In the presence of Vice President Gerd Riegler, Markus Wutscher (ÖJHV Carinthia) as well as Janine Bunte and René Dobler (SJH) and HI Board member Stephan Kurmann, Frank Reutlinger and Michael Raunig signed the letter of intent.
In addition, the Carinthian delegation has gained a comprehensive insight into the work of the SJH and has received a wide range of information from the area managers for revenue management and sustainability.
